Saturday's match sponsor Peter Lloyd has donated tickets to the local community.
Peterborough United entertain AFC Wimbledon on Saturday 22nd October and the match sponsor for the fixture, Peter Lloyd, has made a wonderful gesture to the local community of some of the next generation of Posh supporters to the ABAX Stadium.Peter has purchased 250 tickets which have been distributed across more than 20 local schools in the Posh Community Scheme within the Greater Peterborough area to join his party at the ABAX Stadium for the first ever visit of AFC Wimbledon to the ABAX in the Football League. Peter is celebrating 50 years as a Posh fan.
A club spokesman said: “It is a fantastic gesture by Peter and it demonstrates not only his commitment to the football club through match sponsorship, but also his connection with the local community that he has purchased such a volume of tickets to distribute to a host of schools within the area.”
“We hope that Peter and his own guests have a great day with us at the ABAX Stadium and the youngsters that are able to attend the match through his generosity have a day to remember.”
