Posh travel to Boundary Park to face Oldham Athletic on Saturday.

Peterborough United travel to Oldham Athletic in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday (3pm) looking to get back to winning ways following the home defeat to league leaders Scunthorpe United on Tuesday evening at the ABAX Stadium.

The Latics have one of the best defensive records in the league despite their lowly position in the table, it has been scoring goals that has been the issue.

They are the lowest scorers by some margin in League One but did chalk up a 2-2 draw in their last fixture in the division.

Grant McCann has good memories of Boundary Park - his first stint in caretaker charge ended in a big away win - Lee Angol among the scorers that day.

"I remember it well," McCann said. "As much as I would love to sit here and say I would love that scoreline again, I am a realist. Oldham are a decent side, I believe they are in a false position in the table.

"I know their manager well, I have watched them play and they don't concede many goals. They have some neat footballers and have a good blend of youth and experience. We want to bounce back from the defeat in midweek."

The Posh boss has confirmed that he may look to freshen things up for the weekend with one change enforced due to the suspension of centre back Jack Baldwin. The former Hartlepool United defender picked up his fifth booking of the campaign against the Iron.

Jermaine Anderson is the only player currently ruled out through injury although a number of other players are suffering with knocks.

Posh had sold over 150 tickets in advance of the fixture with tickets on sale until 3pm on Friday at www.theposhtickets.com, via the Ticketmaster hotline 0844 847 1934* and in person at the ABAX Stadium Box Office.

The game is not all-ticket. *calls cost 7ppm plus your network access fee.
