The deadlock was broken on 28 minutes as a cross from the left was allowed to reach striker Leon CLARKE and he squeezed a shot into the back of the net via the inside of the post.
The lead was doubled on 33 minutes and it was as simple as you like, Mayor picked out LOWE and he cut inside and fired into the corner from close-range.

Posh were reduced to 10-men moments later with Almeida Santos sent off for a second yellow card for hauling down Lowe. From the resulting set-piece, Bury made it 3-1 as TUTTE fired over the wall and past Moore by his near post.
Bury introduced Tom Pope for Lowe on 80 minutes. Callum Chettle was introduced for his debut, replacing Da Silva Lopes. Clarke fired wide of the near post in stoppage time.
