Striker Souleymane Coulibaly has joined Newport County in a loan deal.

Peterborough United front man Souleymane Coulibaly has joined Sky Bet League Two side Newport County in a loan deal until the end of the season.

The Ivory Coast under 23 international will remain at Rodney Parade until the 7th May. Coulibaly joined Posh after a trial in the summer of 2015.

Manager Graham Westley said: "I have to say that Souleymane has been a pleasure to work with and at Leeds in the reserve game, he was probably the man of the match after scoring two goals. His attitude has been first class.

"However, we have a few players that are ahead of him at the minute and he needs to be playing games so this is a good opportunity for him to do that."
