Trialist striker to feature against Norwich City.

Peterborough United entertain Norwich City at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday (3pm) and boss Grant McCann has confirmed that striker Morgan Ferrier will be involved.

Ferrier has been training with the club this week after facing Posh on Monday evening for Boreham Wood. The front man spent time in the Arsenal academy and the 21-year-old is expected to be given time to impress.

Midfielder Jermaine Anderson will play 30 minutes in the 120 minute fixture with Gwion Edwards also named in the squad after injury.

McCann said: "I was impressed with Morgan on Monday and he has looked good in training, but I want to see him in more match situations so he will play against Norwich.

"Norwich will provide a really good test. I spoke to the lads ahead of the Boreham Wood game and told them that the next two games will be different, Norwich will have a bit of the ball.

"Myself, my staff and the players are really looking forward to the game. It is always nice to play at your own stadium in pre-season and hopefully it will be a decent crowd," McCann said.

Norwich have confirmed that Timm Klose and Alex Tettey will be involved with the majority of the Canaries squad set to play an hour each.

"What we want to do is give everybody 60 minutes. We want to do it in stages – they got 45 minutes against Walsall, and then we’ve got an hour for them tomorrow.

"It makes sure they’re all at the same level, and it gives them all the best opportunity to get their fitness levels high
