BGL to become the new back of short sponsor.

Peterborough United are delighted to announce that one of the city’s biggest companies, The BGL Group, have agreed a three-year deal to become the clubs official short sponsor, a deal which will see their logo emblazoned on the home, away and third kits moving forward.

The new deal continues the excellent relationship between the football club and one of the UK’s largest consumer insurance groups, with BGL Group already on-board as main sponsor of Posh Foundation’s Community programme, focusing on increasing the Health, Sports Participation Education and Social Inclusion of young peeople in the local area.

Alex Harris, Commercial Manager of Peterborough United, said; “We are delighted that The BGL Group have continued their superb backing of the football club by agreeing a deal to be our new short sponsor. The BGL Group are one of the city’s biggest employers and we look forward to strengthening this partnership over the coming months.”

The BGL Group, who are based locally in Orton Southgate, serve over £8 million customers and have created some iconic brands during that time. The Group owns brands including, one of the UK’s top price comparison sites; Junction, the insurance partnership business; Beagle, the online life insurance provider; Frontline, owner of insurance brands Dial Direct and Budget Insurance.
