Posh travel to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United on Saturday.

Peterborough United make the trip to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday (3pm).

Manager Graham Westley has a number of selection dilemmas with Michael Bostwick the latest to be added to the casualty list.

Bostwick limped out of the 2-0 defeat at Walsall and is expected to miss a number of fixtures. Ricardo Almeida Santos, Jack Baldwin and Miles Addison are the remaining centre backs with Shaun Brisley and Gabi Zakuani also unavailable due to injury.

Kgosi Ntlhe, Joe Gormley, Jermaine Anderson and Callum Elder are also sidelined with chairman Darragh MacAnthony confirming on social media that he expects business to be done in the January transfer window.

Defender Addison believes the Blades will provide a stiff test but insists it is the perfect way to start 2016.

'Sheffield United away is a great fixture to start a new year,' Addison stated. 'Bramall Lane is a superb stadium that belongs in the Premier League.

'Their fans are passionate and support the team in great numbers, but we should relish the occasion because we are a good team with good players.

'Our skilful players should want the ball and show a big crowd how good they are. And we will want to put on a good show for our own travelling supporters.'

Posh sold over 1,000 tickets in advance of the fixture with fans now able to pay on the day at the away ticket office.
