The magic of the FA Cup returns on Saturday as Posh host Championship side Preston North End.

For on-loan youngster Martin Samuelsen, the FA Cup is a magical competition and as he prepares to participate in the competition for the first time, he is hoping he can help Peterborough United cause a shock against a side from a higher division.

Championship side Preston are the opponents at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday (3pm), a side that have a rich pedigree in the competition having won the trophy twice and finished runners-up on five seperate occasions.

'I have watched the FA Cup ever since I was young, growing up back home and it is a competition that sees the small teams play the big teams and it would be great to help Peterborough go far in the competition,' Samuelsen said.

The 18-year-old has extended his loan spell until the end of the season from West Ham United and scored his first goal in English football as Posh defeated Sheffield United 3-2 in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday.

'I am learning different things from the management, every coach can help your game and I am enjoying it. It was a great feeling to score my first goal and to hear the reaction from the crowd.'
