Posh host Burton Albion at the ABAX Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Peterborough United entertain Burton Albion in Sky Bet League One action on Tuesday evening (7.45pm) with the Brewers, managed by Nigel Clough, heading to the ABAX Stadium.

Graham Westley's men slipped out of the top six following an unfortunate 2-1 defeat at Gillingham on Saturday while Albion also suffered defeat, losing 2-1 at home to Shrewsbury Town.

The Posh boss took positives from his side's performance with 60% possession and 20 shots on goal as an away side and is hoping his side can bounce back on Tuesday evening.

"It is my job to take a look at the whole game and it is evident that we were not clinical enough because we dominated possession and had more shots in the game, but we have come away with nothing to show for our efforts.

"We have an immediate chance to bounce back on Tuesday. You want to keep playing games. Defeat is never a good feeling, it is not a taste you want in your mouth and we have a chance to go out there and put it straight is the opportunity we have got in front of us and we are very much looking forward to it," Westley said.

Michael Bostwick is nearing full fitness after injury while Gabriel Zakuani is making good progress from his hamstring injury. Kgosi Ntlhe is unlikely to be involved while Jermaine Anderson and Joe Gormley are long term absentees.

Posh have only faced Burton Albion once in a competitive fixture at the ABAX Stadium, an FA Cup tie back in 2005 which finished goal-less. Posh defeated Burton 3-0 in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup at the Pirelli Stadium earlier in the campaign.
