Posh v Swindon Town: Match Preview

26 February 2016

Posh take on Swindon Town in Sky Bet League One on Saturday 27th February (3pm).

Peterborough United will be looking to bounce back from three straight Sky Bet League One defeats when they take on Swindon Town at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday 27th February (3pm kick-off).

Swindon come into this game off the back of two strong victories against Blackpool and Colchester, which has seen them rise to 15th in the League One table. Former Posh striker Nicky Ajose is in red-hot form having scored a hat-trick in last weekend’s 3-2 win over troubled Blackpool.

Ajose, who sits second in the League One goalscoring chart, is certainly the one to watch for Luke Williams’ team.

Posh will be without Michael Bostwick, who serves the second match of his two-game suspension. Midfielder Chris Forrester is doubt after picking up an injury during the defeat at Millwall although scans reveal the injury is not as serious as first thought. Jermaine Anderson and striker Joe Gormley remain out with long-term injuries.

Earlier in the season Posh recorded a 2-1 win at the County Ground thanks to goals from Jon Taylor and Lee Angol.

Tickets for Saturday's game are available at www.theposhtickets.com, via the Ticketmaster hotline 0844 847 1934* and in person at the ABAX Stadium Box Office.
