Posh host Oldham Athletic in Sky Bet League One action this evening (7.45pm).

Peterborough United will look to bounce back from two successive Sky Bet League One defeats when they entertain Oldham Athletic at the ABAX Stadium this evening (7.45pm).

The Latics are struggling towards the foot of the table while Posh find themselves in mid-table ahead of the encounter.

Earlier in the season, a Posh side managed by Grant McCann ran out 5-1 winners at Boundary Park with Westley an interested spectator in the stands. Dave Roberstson had just parted company with the club.

"On that day, we didn't have Conor Washington in our starting line-up. Souleymane Coulibaly and Lee Angol both scored, Erhun was a maestro and Marcus Maddison was excellent in the number 10 position.

"There have been a lot of changes at Oldham since then, but it is a game that we are looking forward to. We know that the last two performances have been nowhere near good enough," Westley said.

The Posh boss is waiting on the fitness of Chris Forrester who was forced off in the dying moments at Millwall on Saturday following a heavy challenge. Lee Angol missed that game with a slight strain, but should return to the squad.

Michael Bostwick is suspended after collecting his 10th caution of the campaign on Saturday, while midfielder Jermaine Anderson and striker Joe Gormley are long term absentees.

Oldham beat high flying Gillingham on Saturday with Jonathan Forte among the goals. The former Scunthorpe man is an England youth international and a full Barbados international.
