The club are pleased to announce shirt sponsorship extension.

The football club are delighted to announce that a new three-year contract has been agreed with Mick George LTD to remain as kit sponsors until 2020 which will see the East Anglian company continue to proudly display their logo on the home, away and third Posh shirts together with all of the Academy teams.

Mick George are already the proud sponsors of the club’s training base, the Mick George Training Academy and the half-time Skip Challenge is extremely popular with supporters at the ABAX Stadium with big money prizes available for successful participants.

Posh Commercial Manager Alex Harris was thrilled that the company have agreed to extend their deal. “Everybody at Peterborough United are delighted that Mick George have agreed to sign an extension to the shirt sponsorship deal with the football club.

“We are looking forward to working closely with the team at Mick George over the next 3 seasons. They are a hugely progressive company who are expanding all of the time and it is fantastic that they are so heavily involved and committed to our football club.”

Jon Stump, Finance Director of Mick George said: ’We have built a genuine and valued affinity with both the club and supporters since we became the front of shirt sponsor in 2014 and consider that we are seen as much a partner and fellow fan as opposed to just a corporate sponsor.

“Through our association with the club, which dates back well before the shirt sponsorship commenced, we have regularly invested in the club supporting The Posh Foundation, The Training Academy at Nene Park and more recently the Chris Turner Memorial Fund amongst others.

“We are fundamentally a local business, employing over 1,000 local people who are continuously supporting local initiatives whether it be through sport, employment, social or community and be it through commercial partnerships, fund raising or donations.

“We are proud to be the club’s front of shirt sponsor and hope that by signing a three year extension to the current deal which expires in May 2017 reflects the fantastic relationship that has been built between the Mick George Group, Peterborough United FC and its supporters.’’
