Winger Jon Taylor has signed for Sky Bet Championship side Rotherham United.

Peterborough United winger Jon Taylor has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Rotherham United after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.

Taylor has passed a medical with the Millers and will meet his new team-mates on Wednesday after penning a three-year contract.

The 24-year-old joined Posh from Shrewsbury Town and made 76 appearances for Posh, scoring 16 goals.

Manager Grant McCann said: "There had been interest in Jon throughout the summer so we knew there was a chance he would move on and I think it is a good move for all concerned. Jon wanted to play Championship football and Rotherham have agreed a fee so it works out well.

"The chairman was great and allowed me to strengthen in that area with Gwion Edwards and Brad Inman coming into the club and we have a lot of competition for places."

We would like to thank Jon for his efforts on behalf of the football club.
