The football club have appointed Nick Sheppard as Academy Manager

Peterborough United Football Club are pleased to announce Nick Sheppard as the new Academy Manager following the departure of Kieran Scarff.

Sheppard will oversee the youth set-up at the Mick George Training Academy and is looking forward to carrying on the good foundations that are already in place.

“I am really excited to be working alongside some excellent staff and ultimately overseeing the development of our young players within the Academy system. We are all striving to produce players into the first team group and we are excited with the level of talent that we have in the Academy at this moment in time.”

Sheppard will continue to oversee the Community programme while there have been a number of changes and additions in those departments. Sam Darlow is now the Schools Sports Manager, Gavin Slater is the Development Centre and School Holiday Course Manager, Jenna Lusk is now NCS/Women and Girls Manager, Rob Rowland is now Head of Sports Science and Medicine and Ethan Stokes and Louis Bland have been appointed as Community Apprentices.
