Details Of The Futsal Programme

31 August 2016

Details of the Futsal programme.

We are delighted to congratulate the new 1st year intake to our futsal programme. There was a high percentage with great grades and we are looking forward to working with these new talented young players.

We have recently had two training sessions where fitness was a main part of this ahead of the new season. This was for our 2nd year scholars however many 1st years attended and looked very sharp. We are attending todays fixture as a team before we head into the new season as a team exercise.

Last season the squad was very successful and full filled their objectives for the season and reached their targets which was an aim to reach the nationals finals. Overcoming this they had the chance to stay down in Birmingham in a hotel the night before the nationals which was a fantastic experience for everyone involved. Going into the new season targets have already been set and players will know the target when the new season begins.

After an extremely successful season winning the league and becoming national champions, our expectations are high for the forthcoming season. Following on from some fantastic GCSE results and successful interviews we are delighted to welcome an additional 6 players to our team. With the increase of players we will look to have two teams competing in the EFL Trust Futsal Women’s League for the 2016/2017 season and hopefully continue our success.

An exciting futsal season ahead for our futsal scholars.
