Posh head to the Greenhaus Meadow to face struggling Shrewsbury Town.

Peterborough United conclude their away programme at the Greenhaus Meadow on Saturday (3pm) with a visit to struggling Shrewsbury Town, who need the points after being dragged closer to the relegation zone in recent weeks.

The Salop are four points clear of the drop zone with two games remaining in the Sky Bet League One campaign, their latest loss coming at promotion chasing Walsall in midweek.

Former Posh midfielder James Wesolowski could return to the Town side after he was replaced in the starting line-up against the Saddlers.

Following the departure of Graham Westley, Grant McCann will take charge of the remaining two fixtures with Dave Farrell and Mark Tyler assisting him. It is the second caretaker spell that McCann has overseen - the previous one included a 5-0 away win at Oldham Athletic.

McCann said: "I want to look back to last September when I took over last time and do the same as I did then. There was a real feel-good factor around the club leading up to that game. I want the team to play the style of football this club expects and I want the players to have smiles on their faces again. We will play very positively."

McCann has confirmed that nobody will be 'rested' and he will pick the strongest team available to him, with the exception of Michael Bostwick who remains on 14 bookings for the campaign and an impending suspension looming over him.

Michael Smith is expected to return to the squad after injury, but Ben Alnwick remains a doubt. Jermaine Anderson, Joe Gormley, Tom Nichols and Jordan Nicholson remain on the sidelines. Chris Forrester returns after suspension.

At 10am on Friday, Posh had sold over 220 tickets in advance for the fixture with tickets on sale at www.theposhtickets.com, via the Ticketmaster hotline 0844 847 1934* and in person at the Box Office. The game is not all-ticket.
