Posh host Walsall in Sky Bet League One action at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday (3pm).

Peterborough United entertain high-flying Walsall at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday (3pm) in Sky Bet League One action with tickets on sale at www.theposhtickets.com, via the Ticketmaster hotline 0844 847 1934 and in person at the ABAX Stadium Box Office.

Caretaker manager Grant McCann continues at the helm after a stunning start to life in charge at Oldham Athletic last weekend with Posh running out impressive 5-1 winners at Boundary Park.

McCann confirmed in the weekly press conference that defender Kgosi Ntlhe could face months on the sidelines after undergoing an operation on his toe.

Jack Baldwin featured in an internal fixture at the Mick George Training Academy and will continue his return to match fitness in a friendly game at Norwich City next Tuesday afternoon.

'Jack looks a million dollars to be fair,' McCann said.  'In fact, he actually is fitter than a lot of the lads because of the work he has been undertaking with physiotherapist Jon Chatfield. It is great to see him back involved.

'The situation for me hasn't changed. I am preparing the side for this Saturday's game and getting the lads prepared for the visit of a good Walsall side. They play good football so it should be a match that we can look forward to because that is the way I want my sides to play,' McCann said.

Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw is the man in form - he scored twice in the 2-0 win over Doncaster Rovers last weekend and leads the scoring charts. Midfielder Romaine Sawyers is highly-rated and will provide the support for Bradshaw in attack.

The last three meetings between the two sides have ended goal-less but the last time Posh were successful at home against the Saddlers it was a big win - a side including Aaron Davies and Adam Clayton helped Posh to a 4-1 success.
