Posh travel to the Den this evening to face Millwall.

Peterborough United travel to the Den tonight to face Millwall in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy (7.45pm).

Dave Robertson's men go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Gillingham, while the Lions have struggled in front of their own supporters in recent matches with four defeats in four games this season.

The Posh boss has stressed that the competition is important to the club: 'The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy is a competition we want to do well in, but it’s also important that we maintain the standards we set against Gillingham. We played with the sort of intensity and spirit we need to show in every game.

'Millwall away won’t be an easy game, but we will be positive to make sure we get through to the next round,' Robertson said.

Posh are without central defenders Gabi Zakuani (suspension) and Jack Baldwin (injured) and are still waiting on the fitness of full-backs Kgosi Ntlhe and Michael Smith.

New signing Chris Forrester could feature while left-back Callum Elder will continue if Ntlhe does not make it.

Posh extended the loan of defender Alex Davey from Premier League side Chelsea on Tuesday morning, with the youngster set to stay at the ABAX Stadium until 2nd January 2016.

If the scores are level tonight, the tie will go straight to penalties.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £5 for senior citizens (over 60s) and £1 for under 16s. Under 12s need to be purchased with an adult or senior ticket.

Ambulant disabled and disabled wheelchair tickets are priced at £10 and the carer is free of charge.

Please note that supporters wishing to purchase concession tickets on the day will need to provide proof of age.
