Peterborough United welcome Wigan Athletic to the ABAX on Tuesday evening.

Peterborough United entertain Wigan Athletic in Sky Bet League One action at the ABAX Stadium on Tuesday evening (7.45pm) as they look to build on the 1-1 draw at Port Vale on Saturday.

Graham Westley's men face a Wigan side fresh from a 5-0 win over Colchester United at the DW Stadium meaning that both sides scored five in their last home fixture, with Posh defeating Millwall 5-3 in their last encounter at the ABAX.

Westley has indicated that he will look to freshen up his side ahead of the fixture with several players carrying knocks. Erhun Oztumer returns from suspension and Westley is a big fan of the 'wizard'.

'Erhun always has a smile on his face. He trains well, he never ever loses a game of five-a-side and he is a wizard on the ball. He has been a model of consistency since I have arrived at the club and he excites me everytime that I see him on the training pitch.'

Joe Gormley (knee), Harry Beautyman (thigh), Jack Baldwin (knee) and Kgosi Ntlhe (toe) are all out, while Marcus Maddison is in contention after missing the draw at Port Vale.

'Wigan won their last game 5-0 and we won our last home game by scoring five goals, so I think most people can expect a good game of football with both sides looking to attack. It is a home game and we have to make that advantage count. I think when you play at home on Tuesday night, there are things in your favour. You haven't had to travel and the pitch will be slick because of that little bit of moisture - that will aid the speed of the game,' Westley said.

Wigan are skippered by former Posh defender Craig Morgan - he scored a last gasp goal to earn Wigan a point at local rivals Bury earlier this month. It is unlikely that Wigan will change their side given the performance and victory against Colchester so the brilliantly-named Max Power will continue in midfield and Will Grigg will lead the line.

Posh fans are reminded that if they attend the fixture with the Latics, they will gain admission to Saturday's meeting with Doncaster Rovers for half-price.
