Open trials at St. Peters School this Monday.

Starting in September 2016, Peterborough United and St Peters School are offering a footballing experience run alongside sport related BTEC’s and degree programmes that will allow students to continue their football development whilst gaining qualifications in the sports industry.

Students will be given the best opportunity to fulfil their potential as athletes and as students and to continue a career in sport after their time at the school.

Over the next year we will be running trials for players who would like to be involved in the programme. The trial is for current Year 11 students. The details for the first trial are below:

Date: Monday 5th October.
Venue: St Peters School Astro Turf, St Peters Road, Huntingdon. PE29 7DD.
Time: 3:30pm - 5:00pm.

Course will offer:

• At least 2 hours of football related training a day.
• Coaching by UEFA qualified coaches as well as former professional player.
• Opportunity to train with a pro club.
• The chance to gain coaching badges, referee licence and other sporting
qualifications.
• The experience of watching a professional team train and prepare for a game.
• Access to a fully qualified physio as well as fitness, nutritional and strength and
conditioning programmes.
• Support and opportunities to pursue a career in sport and further education
after your studies.
