Former Posh striker delighted with FA Cup tie at the ABAX Stadium.

There are so many connections between Peterborough United and Luton Town that the match day programme for the FA Cup second round tie will probably be over 100 pages.

The two sides will meet over the weekend of the 5th December at the ABAX Stadium and within the Luton Town camp there are plenty of familiar faces.

The Hatters are managed by one-time Posh boss John Still, left-back Scott Griffiths was a reliable customer for both sides, Josh McQuoid scored at Wembley in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and that is without two club legends.

Goalkeeper Mark Tyler and striker Craig Mackail-Smith are both firm fans favourites and both cannot wait for the tie.

'It is a dream tie for me,' Craig Mackail-Smith told theposh.com. 'When both teams won and progressed at the weekend, this was the draw that I was looking for. I have been back a few times and it is very special for me.

'I had a wonderful time at Peterborough. I have great memories and it is a tie that I firmly believe is a bit of a standout just because of the sheer amount of connections between the two clubs.

'I know that Mark Tyler will be really looking forward to it. It is interesting because we both loved our time so much so maybe it is 50-50 who is the real story!

'It should be an open tie, both sides like to go forward and score goals and I am really looking forward to seeing everyone and hopefully myself and Tyles can have a good game,' Mackail-Smith said.
