The football club are seeking three massuers to join the club's medical department.
Peterborough United Football Club requires three motivated and enthusiastic sports masseurs to join our sports medicine team to work with our professional players.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide massage/appropriate soft tissue techniques to the First Team Squad.
Sports masseurs will be responsible for assisting and optimizing player’s recovery after training sessions/matches.
Whist also providing massage therapy input to improve the fit players and minimise their time lost due to injury.
Ideal candidates will have:
- A sports massage qualification (Level 3 or above) from a recognized Sports Massage institution.
- Own professional liability/indemnity insurance.
- Strong interest in football and delivering sports massage to elite athletes.
- Accommodation local to Peterborough.
- Own transport.
Ideal for those wishing to gain valuable hands on experience in elite sport. The position is voluntary but CPD opportunities are included with working hours approximately 6 hours per week.
