The Posh under 18s complete their campaign with the final of the David Joyce Cup on Wednesday evening.

The Peterborough United under 18s have a chance to end the season with some silverware as they compete tin the final of the David Joyce Cup against AFC Rushden and Diamonds on Wednesday evening (7.30pm).

The fixture will be played at the Dog and Duck in Wellingborough with admission prices set at £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.

Posh are likely to be without striker Jonny Edwards following his dismissal on Saturday in the first team draw at Oldham Athletic.

Ryan Semple spoke to the Posh YouTube channel ahead of the game and is looking for the youngsters to end the season in style. 'It is in their hands. They know that if they perform that they have a great chance of lifting some silverware and that will be a good end to the season for the lads.

'AFC Rushden and Diamonds have been doing well in their league though and they will be desperate to perform well so it should be a good contest. We are hoping to have a strong group of players available and the lads are playing with confidence,' Semple said.

Goalkeeper Henrich Ravas was the hero in the last round as he saved two penalties in the shoot-out success at the ABAX Stadium against Northampton Town.

'Henrich is playing with a lot of confidence at the minute. His decision making has improved and since Dion Henry has stepped into the first team group he has really kicked on. He was excellent against Northampton in the last round, Semple added.
