Posh travel to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United this evening (7.30pm).

Peterborough United are in Sky Bet League One action tonight (Tuesday) against promotion-chasing Sheffield United at Bramall Lane (7.30pm) as Dave Robertson takes chage of his first away fixture in caretaker charge.

Robertson's men defeated Bradford City 2-0 at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday and there are no fresh injury worries for the Posh coaching staff to contend with ahead of the clash with the Blades.

Winger Marcus Maddison and strikers Conor Washington and Aaron Mclean are expected to return to the squad after injury and ineligibility saw them miss out at the weekend.

Jack Baldwin is a long term absentee, but aside from the former Hartlepool centre back, Posh have a clean bill of health.

Sheffield United defender Terry Kennedy picked up a knee injury against Crawley and is expected to miss the game. Kieron Freeman is the likely deputy, and striker Marc McNulty could also start after coming off the bench to score the equaliser on Saturday.

Jose Baxter is serving the final match of a three match ban and misses out. Craig Alcock is expected to be named in the squad against his former employees.

Robertson is looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead: 'Sheffield United are a big club and there will be a big crowd inside Bramall Lane, but we go there with confidence after the weekend win over Bradford City.

'We will be going there to express ourselves, be positive and go with that attacking mentality. We have a few players back in the squad after injury and the lads are looking forward to the challenge.'

Posh had sold just under 300 tickets in advance for the game and Sheffield United have now lifted the all-ticket status on the fixture so supporters can pay at the turnstiles in Sheffield, albeit with a slight price rise.
