The Posh Futsal 'B' team recorded an emphatic 7-0 victory over Brentford in their latest fixture

Posh flew out of the traps in this game going 1-0 up within the first 30 seconds with a goal from Josh Pearce.

The score was doubled a couple of minutes later with a second scored by Jamie Steward.  Following the goal, Brentford picked up an injury meaning they had to make their first change.  Posh continued to press and defended excellently, keeping great discipline within the defensive diamond.

Brentford lost another player and due to no more subs meant they continued with three outfield players.  Posh kept the ball well but took their foot off the gas slightly as the rotation that had propelled them into a good lead early on suddenly became lacking.

Due to the numerical disadvantage, Brentford struggled to offer much attacking threat.  Posh continued to attack and were 5-0 up at half time with further goals from Lewis Soames and Josh Backhouse, the pick of them being a great team move which ended with a finish into the top of the net by Kieran Luxford.

Following the break, Posh scored two quick goals again.  The floodgates were opening before another Brentford player gained an injury leaving their coach to refuse to continue with 15 minutes left.

Posh: Moore, Luxford, Soames, Backhouse, Franklin, Pearce, Slater, Steward.
