Win the chance to watch Posh train at the new Mick George Training Academy.
Peterborough United will launch their brand new home kit on Sunday 5th July at a special event at Serpentine Green, Hampton. The football club will be working closely with shirt sponsors Mick George to create a memorable two hours with plenty of entertainment for all of the family as well as the big reveal of the 2015-2016 Peterborough United home strip.
At the beginning of this year, Mick George Limited pledged to raise £50,000 for Sue Ryder and they are working closely with the team at the Thorpe Hall Hospice to help raise money for the charity through their donation stations this summer.
To enter the competition* just bring along one bin bag of old clothes or textiles and deposit in the Sue Ryder ‘donation station’ located in front of Boots at the Posh kit launch. There are two pairs of tickets up for grabs and they include a tour of the new Mick George Training Academy, lunch and the chance to watch the first team in action on the training pitch.
Jon Stump, Finance Director at Mick George said: “Our involvement at the club has extended this season as we are now the official sponsors of the Peterborough United FC Training Ground, which is home to all of the club’s representative sides from Dave Robertson’s 1st Team down to the Academy U9s. To celebrate the launch of the Mick George Training Academy we are giving four lucky fans the chance to go behind the scenes and have a tour of the facilities as well as watch the first team train.
“All you have to do to enter this competition is bring a bag of unwanted clothes to the Sue Ryder Donation Station, located in front of Boots on Sunday 5th July 2015. The staff and volunteers at Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall provide incredible care to people during the most difficult times and one bag of clothes can make a big difference.”
