Kieran Sadlier makes it a hat-trick of signings for Posh.

Peterborough United made it three signings in as many hours as former West Ham United midfielder Kieran Sadlier agreed a deal at the ABAX Stadium.

The 20-year-old, who spent 11 years at Upton Park before joining St. Mirren in Scotland, has been on trial with Posh for a few weeks and has earned a deal.

Sadlier spent time working with Jack Collison at the Hammers and admitted that he had a part to play in his arrival.

'I know Jack well from my time at West Ham and he is a great player to learn from. I think he helped me get a trial and I am delighted that everything has worked out. It has been good to work with the lads for the last couple of weeks and going to Ireland for the pre-season training camp was a bonus.

'I have played in central midfield, but I play on the left and I am looking forward to the season and hopefully playing a part in a promotion push. I spent a long time at West Ham and it was tough to leave, but I played a few games for St Mirren and they wanted to keep me on, but I was a long way from home and wanted to take a gamble and try and earn a deal here and I am really happy it has worked out that way.

'The challenge now is to break into a really strong first team and I am looking forward to that and working with the management here.'

Sadlier will wear the number 27 shirt at the ABAX Stadium.
