Slaven Bilic is looking forward to taking charge of his new team for the first time when they face Posh on Saturday.

Bilic was in the dugout as the Hammers saw off Lusitans on Thursday, but left Academy Manager Terry Westley in control of the team.

At the ABAX Stadium, however, Bilic will take the players who have spent the last week-and-a-half training in Cork and give them their first run out of the summer.

That means the likes of Hammer of the Year Aaron Cresswell, Mark Noble and new signing Pedro Obiang could feature, and Bilic said: "We have a game on Saturday against Peterborough. 99 per cent of that will be from the guys in Cork. Maybe some of the players from Andorra will join us because we have training on Friday afternoon and then we'll make a squad for Saturday. Of course I'm looking forward to every game.'

Posh won their first pre-season fixture against Dulwich Hamlet on Wednesday night and several players who missed out on that victory will be involved against the Hammers including Gabriel Zakuani and Michael Bostwick.

You can purchase tickets for the game at www.theposhtickets.com, via the Ticketmaster* hotline 0844 847 1934 or in person at the Box Office.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults (there is a £5 price increase on the day), over 60s and 18-21-year-olds and £5 for under 18s.
