Posh competing in the Soccer AM Futsal Cup this month.
The Soccer AM Futsal Cup returns this month with all forty eight FLT Futsal clubs entering the competition for the First Round.
For the opening round only, clubs will be split in to ‘North’ and ‘South’ sections with the top twenty four teams qualifying for the Second Round where the Soccer AM cameras will begin their footage. Teams were seeded for the draw based on their League 1 position on 7th January, the point at which every team will have played every other team in their league once.
All eyes will be on defending champions Grimsby Town, but the Mariners will have to fend off the likes of Carlisle United, Blackburn Rovers, Scunthorpe United, Reading, Chelsea and Cardiff City who all have made unbeaten starts to the league season.
Posh drew Leicester City, Cheltenham and Plymouth Argyle these are all sides Posh have not played against in any competition.
