In terms of team news, Ferguson welcomes Jon Taylor and Ben Alnwick back to the squad after the pair completed 45 minutes for the development side in the 2-0 win over Luton Town on Wednesday afternoon.
Ferguson admits that the loss of Taylor for much of this campaign has been a huge blow: 'Jon brings a lot of energy and I think we have missed that in the forward areas. He has been a big loss to me and the team this season. He has been chomping at the bit and will definitely be in the 18.
'Ben is fit and raring to go so I have a decision to make there. He had to make a couple of saves in the week and had plenty of long kicking to do, so he is available. Scott Loach's loan deal expires after Saturday's game.'
Posh beat Rochdale 1-0 on the opening day of the campaign with Kyle Vassell bagging the only goal of the game.
