Posh defender presents award to tournament winners.

Peterborough United held their first Female Football Development (FFD) inter-school tournament on Thursday 12th February 2015.

Six local secondary schools took part in a successful afternoon with plenty of quality football on show and for many of the players this was their first taste of competitive football. The afternoon of fixtures presented an opportunity for the players to showcase their development, team work and enjoyment for the game.

The tournament was greatly received by students and staff, with the winner’s trophy being presented by Peterborough United defender Jack Baldwin. Based on the success of this tournament, Peterborough United will look to host further inter-school tournaments throughout the academic year.
