Boss Graham Westley named the Manager of the Month for November.
Peterborough United manager Graham Westley has been named the Sky Bet League 1 Manager of the Month for November.
The initial concerns of Posh fans over Westley’s appointment have been swept away by breathtaking attacking play and an avalanche of goals. He’s bringing the best out of his players with a maximum 12 points and 14 goals from four games.
George Burley chairs the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel.
He said: “Graham has had a fantastic month putting Peterborough United into the Play-Off positions. Not only have they won all four games in November, they have scored an astonishing 14 goals in the process.
“Peterborough have become renowned for their open style of play in the last few seasons and it certainly looks as though Graham wants to carry that forward.”
Sky Sports’ Football League pundit Don Goodman said: “Westley’s time at London Road couldn’t have gone any better after taking over from Darren Ferguson.
“It’s fair to say that he wasn’t the Posh fans’ first choice, but if the start he has had is anything to go by, he must have alleviated many of the fears the fans had.”
