Posh make the long trip north to face Blackpool on Saturday (3pm).

Peterborough United will travel to Blackpool hoping to extend their current unbeaten run in all competitions to eight games and continue their good away form this Saturday in Sky Bet League One at Bloomfield Road (3pm Kick Off).

The Tangerines are languishing near the bottom of the table after a turbulent start to the season both off and on the field. However, things could be looking up for Blackpool, after escaping the relegation zone with two league victories in a row against Fleetwood Town and Wigan Athletic, a feat that they haven’t achieved since August 2013.

Blackpool could field former Posh midfielder David Norris in their side, as well as Blyth FA Cup hero Jarret Rivers, former Wigan stalwart Emmerson Boyce and former Burnley striker Martin Paterson.

Posh will still be without Jermaine Anderson, due to a knee injury, however Jon Taylor and Martin Samuelsen, could return from the injuries that kept them out of last weekend’s draw against Shrewsbury. Joe Gormley, Shaun Brisley, Kgosi Ntlhe and Gabi Zakuani are also on the sidelines.

Manager Graham Westley has said ‘The North West has been in for some weather and we know that it’s going to be a difficult environment to go into, but we will be prepared. We had to deal with difficult conditions last week and we have trained this week ready for anything, conditions wise.

'The fans have been outstanding in their support of the team and have really driven the team onto great heights in our recent away displays, so we’ll be looking forward to that support again.’

‘The form on the road has been positive, I think it suits us on the road, sides do have to come out and open the game up, as opposed to at our place where they have much more of a tendency to sit in and try and keep the game much tighter, you’re’ going to have a much more open game and that’s exactly what we like. We want everybody who comes to the game to go away talking about us, so that’s going to be our agenda again this weekend.’

Posh had sold over 200 tickets in advance for the trip and fans are able to pay at Bloomfield Road.
