Posh reached this stage following victory over Crawley Town, while the Addicks defeated Dagenham and Redbridge 4-1 at the Valley.
Robertson is still awaiting news on whether Michael Smith and Kgosi Ntlhe will be fit while Jack Baldwin remains on the sidelines. Jack Collison is expected to return to the squad while centre back Gabi Zakuani will be suspended pending a decision on whether the club will appeal his red card.
Charlton are flying high in the Championship following a last gasp win over Hull City at the weekend and are expected to field a strong side at the ABAX with striker Tony Watt expected to lead the line.
Robertson said: 'Charlton are a strong side and they demonstrated at the weekend that they have the capabilities of beating anyone in the Championship. They have had a good start to the season and we know they will provide a tough test for us, but it is a night game at the ABAX under the floodlights and we are looking forward to it.
'There have been big moments in games that haven't gone our way so far this season, but we are still very early on and I will be a happy man when we have all of our players back fit and available for selection,' Robertson said.
If the match ends in a draw, there will be extra time and penalty kicks to decide the winner.

Tickets in advance are priced at £15 for adults, £10 for over 60s and 18-21s and £5 for under 18s. On the day, the price rises in the adult bracket to £20.
Season ticket seats will be held until 5pm on Monday 24th August. Executive Suite tickets are priced at £25 for adults and £15 for concessions. The Motorpoint Stand will be closed for this fixture.
