The football club will hold a minute silence ahead of the Capital One Cup tie with Crawley Town at the ABAX Stadium.

Peterborough United entertain Sky Bet League Two side Crawley Town at the ABAX Stadium in the first round of hte Capital One Cup on Tuesday evening (7.45pm) and ahead of kick-off there will be a minute's silence in memory of former goalkeeper Tony Millington who sadly passed away last week.

Millington spent three seasons with the football club between 1966 and 1970 making a total of 132 appearances in all competitions.

Millington represented Wales eight times whilst with the club and went on to represent Swansea City where he played 178 League games, continuing his international career, ending with 21 caps.

He was 72 years-old. Our thoughts remain with his family at this sad time.
