Posh entertain Port Vale at London Road on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
Peterborough United entertain Micky Adams' Port Vale at London Road on Saturday afternoon (3pm) with Darren Ferguson's men looking to continue the good work in September after an excellent start to the Sky Bet League One campaign.
Posh go into the game top of the table and with other clubs not involved this weekend due to international call-ups, it is an opportunity to strengthen the position at the summit.
Ferguson has one or two more options on the selection front with defender Jack Baldwin returning to training this week after a knee injury. Jon Taylor is also in contention after sitting out the last two fixtures.
Michael Bostwick, Erhun Oztumer and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing remain on the sidelines with the latter out for three weeks following his scan results. Bostwick is still two weeks away from a return.
Gabi Zakuani and Kenny McEvoy are away on international duty, while left-back Kgosi Ntlhe is struggling with a groin problem.
Vale have collected five points from the opening five fixtures and strengthened their squad ahead of the transfer window with two signings.
They signed a second loan striker inside four days by bringing in Frenchman Achille Campion from Swedish Division One side Norrby IF.
The 23-year-old 6ft 2ins target man has signed a short-term deal, subject to international clearance.
Campion, who was on trial with Bradford in July, also had trials with Sheffield Wednesday, Yeovil and Ipswich Town.
He follows boss Micky Adams' signing of Jordan Slew on loan from Blackburn Rovers which was completed last Friday.
Tickets are on sale for the game at www.theposhtickets.com, via the Ticketmaster Hotline 0844 847 1934 and in person at the London Road Box Office.
