Posh duo spend time at Sats of Stanground Fish and Chip Shop.
Peterborough United’s young stars Kane Ferdinand and Marcus Maddison showed any-fin is possible after swapping training ground action to dishing out fish and chips to support their local community.
Newly opened chip shop; Sats of Stanground was a buzz of activity after opening the doors to the locals who had the opportunity to test out free samples of their produce and a chance to have pictures and autographs with the players.
Satnam Bisla of Sats of Stanground said: ‘We want to be associated with Peterborough United and I think the partnership is good for both parties. It is great that they go out into the public and interact with the community and I hope a lot of Posh fans make Sats of Stanground their chosen chippy.’
Maddison, who seemed to be a natural serving the customers, was happy with the afternoon’s activities, ‘It is important that we can go out and support our local community, but also to be able to meet the fans is a big part of our responsibilities. It was a fun afternoon.’
