Junior Posh members enjoyed a free skate at the Peterborough Ice Rink on Friday.
Peterborough United and the Peterborough Phantoms Ice Hockey team joined forces last week to give Junior Posh members a FREE day at the Ice Rink.
Members were given the opportunity to skate for free for an hour, as well as having a tour around the dressing rooms. Not only that, they were helped on the ice by the Peterborough Phantoms Ice Hockey team who ended their pre-season with victory over Milton Keynes to claim the 'Ashes'.
Peter Burrow was in attendance and had pictures with the youngsters, while the Johnstone's Paint Trophy was available for photographs.
Junior Posh co-ordinator Phil Adlam said: 'We wanted to put on a free event for members and it was pleasing to see quite a few youngsters take up the opportunity. They certainly seemed to enjoy themselves on the ice and I think it was Peter Burrow who slipped over first, which I guess is not much of a surprise.
'I would like to thank everyone at the Phantoms for their support, not only on the ice in the form of the players, but off it, with their help and guidance.'
Junior Posh membership costs £10 per season and is open to under 16s. As part of the membership you will receive a membership card which entitles you to discount in the Shop and on tickets (in terms of points), a monthly newsletter with exclusive competitions, a behind the scenes tour, a signed birthday and Christmas card and an invitation to the Christmas Party.
You can pick up a membership form at London Road or visit www.theposhtickets.com and sign up online.
