Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Erhun Oztumer set to return from injury in under 21 Premier League Cup.
Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson could receive a timely injury boost ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet League One fixture with Fleetwood Town as Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Erhun Oztumer are set to feature for the under 21s against Watford at Vicarage Road on Tuesday evening (7pm).
The pair are expected to play at least 45 minutes against the Hornets in the Premier League under 21 Cup and could put themselves in contention for a first team berth against the Cod Army at London Road.
Mendez-Laing and Oztumer have both been missing for a number of weeks. Goalkeeper Aidan Grant is expected to be between the sticks while other players lacking first team football could also make the journey to London.
Tickets are £3 for adults, £2 for young adults (16-19), students (Under-25) and 65 and over, with Under-16s getting in for just £1. Entry is through the Hornet's Shop.
