Posh host Oldham Athletic at London Road on Saturday afternoon (3pm).

Peterborough United entertain Lee Johnson's Oldham Athletic at London Road in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday (3pm) looking to build on the narrow 1-0 victory over Fleetwood Town last weekend.

Posh boss Darren Ferguson has received mixed news on the injury front with defender Kgosi Ntlhe ruled out for up to four weeks with a hamstring injury. However, Michael Bostwick is back in the squad after a long layoff with a calf injury.

'Kgosi has been very unlucky this season with injury. We were looking for him to play in the majority of games as our first choice left-back, but he has had one or two injury problems and this latest one is a blow.

'Obviously Michael Smith can play in that position, but I have options now because Michael Bostwick is back from injury, which is a boost as he can play in a number of positions including right back where he started the campaign,' Ferguson said.

The Posh boss also confirmed that midfielder Erhun Oztumer will play in the development fixture with West Ham United on Tuesday at the Nene Park Academy (1pm).

'With Erhun it is a bit like starting afresh like a pre-season because he obviously needs to get back up to speed. He has played 45 minutes, then an hour and we will be looking to get 90 minutes into him on Tuesday.

'Jon Taylor has had an injection on his knee and he should be fine to be involved and then we will see how the inflammation settles down afterwards. That is something we are looking to manage at the minute,' Ferguson added.

Kyle Vassell remains on the sidelines with a broken foot.

Oldham manager Lee Johnson has made tentative enquiries over a couple of centre-backs as he bids to stave off a potential defensive crisis.

George Elokobi will definitely miss the clash with his injured thigh, while Adam Lockwood remains three weeks away from a comeback. That leaves James Wilson, Genseric Kusunga and Timothee Dieng as options in the defence at London Road.
