Posh duo on international duty this week with several others on standby.

Peterborough United defender Gabriel Zakauni and winger Kenny McEvoy have been called up for international duty this week.

Zakuani flew out on Monday to link up with the DR Congo side for two fixtures against the Ivory Coast on Saturday 11th October and Wednesday 15th October and could come up against Manchester City star Yaya Toure.

Meanwhile, on-loan Tottenham winger McEvoy has been named in the Republic of Ireland under 21 squad for their fixture with Norway on Thursday 9th October.

Defender Michael Smith is on the standby list for the Northern Ireland squad as they face Greece on Saturday 11th October and the Faroe Islands on Tuesday 14th October.

Midfielder Jermaine Anderson is on standby for the England under 19 squad for the European under 19 qualifiers in Luxemburg against Belgium, Luxemburg and Belarus.

Youngster Ben Keating has been named on standby for the Welsh under 17 squad as they face Russia, Belarus and Montenegro.
