Posh host Swindon Town at London Road on Saturday in Sky Bet League One action (3pm).
Peterborough United welcome Swindon Town to London Road on Saturday afternoon as Darren Ferguson's men look to get themselves back into the promotion shake-up after slipping out of the top six following last weekend's goalless draw at Walsall.
The Robins are currently occuping second place behind Bristol City and under Mark Cooper have had an excellent league campaign to date. However, they were dumped out of the FA Cup by Cheltenham Town in a particularly low moment.
Posh welcome back Gabriel Zakuani from international duty. He helped DR Congo qualify for the African Cup of Nations in January, but will return in time to be named in the Posh squad.
Loan signing Aaron Mclean will also be in the squad after agreeing a move from Bradford City this week. Jack Baldwin and Marcus Maddison are still sidelined, although the latter could return against Preston North End just before Christmas.
Ferguson is looking forward to the clash: 'It is a game that I am looking forward to. Swindon play good football and their philosophy is very similar to ours. Both squads are young and it should be a decent game of football.
'We know that a win could take us into the top six and that is obviously our aim. We were solid if unspectacular last weekend at Walsall, it was pleasing to get a clean sheet, but we know going forward we have to make improvements.'
Swindon beat league leaders Bristol City in their last Sky Bet League One fixture with Michael Smith continuing his fine personal campaign with the only goal of the game.
The new stand will be open for the game for the first time. Tickets are available at www.theposhtickets.com, via the Ticketmaster Hotline 0844 847 1934 and in person at the London Road Box Office.
