Michael Smith and Luke James meet people affected by dementia.
Peterborough United duo Michael Smith and Luke James visited the recently opened Dementia Resource Centre based on Lincoln Road on Thursday (6th November) afternoon.
The pair spent time talking to people and their families who have been affected by dementia.
The Dementia Resource Centre, which opened in September, is run by Alzheimer’s Society in conjunction with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust and is funded by Peterborough City Council.
It is a hub for dementia support offering advice, information and services which include activity groups, training for carers and dementia cafes. It has a relaxed café style waiting area and space for confidential assessment and consultations.
Anyone who would like more information about centre should contact Alzheimer’s Society on 01733 893853.
