Posh have re-signed Aaron Mclean on-loan until the end of January from Bradford City.

Peterborough United have completed the loan signing of Bradford City front man Aaron Mclean until the end of January 2015.

Mclean, who scored 78 goals in 174 games in all competitions during his first spell with the football club, trained with the club on Tuesday before completing the paperwork at lunchtime.

The striker is currently fifth in the club's all-time goalscoring list in the Football League behind Jim Hall, Tommy Robson, Terry Bly and Craig Mackail-Smith.

Posh boss Darren Ferguson was pleased to have the striker back at London Road. 'I think Aaron will give everyone a lift on and off the field. He knows how I work and I know what he can bring to the team.

'I know he can score goals at this level. He will bring competition for places, which I feel is really needed at this moment in time.'

Mclean said: 'I am really happy to be back. Playing at Peterborough was the best part of my career and I can't wait to get started again. It was great seeing all the lads at training today.'

Mclean will wear the number 20 shirt at London Road. He is eligible to play in the FA Cup after being given permission by the Bantams.
