Marshall curled a free-kick over the bar from an acute angle after Phillips was felled on 51 minutes.

The lively Anderson was denied by Parkes after another excellent run, gliding past two defenders before unleashing a low drive at goal.

County struck the upright on 74 minutes as Richards' effort from long-range beat goalkeeper Dion-Curtis Henry.

Posh made a change as the game entered the final 10 minutes with under 16 winger Leo Da-Silva-Lopes replacing the goalscorer Edwards.

As the game entered the final three minutes, Posh made it 2-0 and what a goal it was. Substitute Leonardo DA-SILVA-LOPES let fly from 30-yards and found the back of the net over goalkeeper Parkes.
