Transfer Window Open

16 May 2014

The transfer window is now open with Posh listing nine players this week.

The transfer window is now open with clubs able to buy and sell during the summer ahead of the new season, which kicks off in August.

Peterborough United transfer listed nine players this week following the release of five other members of the squad.

Goalkeeper Bobby Olejnik, who was named the Player of the Season after keeping 23 clean sheets this term, is among those made available for transfer.

Nicky Ajose, who netted 18 goals last term, predominately from a wide position, including his first senior hat-trick in a win over Notts County is also on the list.

Shaun Brisley, who scored in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final at Wembley against Chesterfield, joins Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Tyrone Barnett, Joe Day, Kane Ferdinand, Michael Richens and Charlie Coulson on the list.

It is club policy that any player entering the final year of their contracts will be transfer listed.

The club will offer new contracts to Mark Little and Danny Swanson. The club chose not to offer deals to Tommy Rowe, Craig Alcock, Daniel Kearns, Peter Grant and Nathaniel Knight-Percival who are all free to sign for any club.

The League One fixtures will be released on Wednesday 18th June at 9am. The club will announce the pre-season friendly list once all fixtures are confirmed.
