Posh head to Deepdale this evening (Tuesday) to face an in-form Preston North End side (7.45pm).
Peterborough United look to bounce back from the 1-0 home reverse to Rotherham United on Saturday when they face fellow play-off contenders Preston North End at Deepdale this evening (7.45pm).
Simon Grayson's men have been hugely consistent in League One this term and are particular impressive in front of their own supporters.
Posh boss Darren Ferguson is sweating on the fitness of Tommy Rowe who limped out of Saturday's loss to Rotherham. Kyle Vassell has travelled after recovering from a broken toe.
Preston have no injury problems but manager Simon Grayson may make changes after seeing North End's long unbeaten run ended at Swindon on Saturday.
Stuart Beavon's impressive cameo appearance from the bench could earn the striker a starting place.
Ferguson said: 'There are players that are currently not in the side that are chomping at the bit to play and as a manager that is what you want. I may make changes to the line-up. Preston are a good side and have been there or thereabouts throughout the season.
'It will be a tough game for us, they have some good players and are very organised,' Ferguson said.
Posh beat Preston 2-0 at London Road earlier in the season thanks to goals from Tyrone Barnett and Grant McCann.
Posh had sold just under 100 tickets in advance for the game. The game is not all-ticket and there is no price increase on the evening.
