Darren Ferguson's men host Rotherham at London Road on Saturday afternoon (3pm).

Peterborough United entertain Rotherham United at London Road in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday (3pm) knowing that a victory could extend the advantage from nearest challenges Milton Keynes Dons to nine points and in turn close the gap on the Millers who are directly above Posh in the table.

Posh currently hold a six-point advantage over the Dons with a game in hand and are eight points behind Rotherham in fifth. The Millers have the best away record in the division and are unbeaten in 12 fixtures.

In terms of team news, striker Kyle Vassell is back in training after recovering from a broken toe and has been added to the squad while Danny Swanson returns after a two-match suspension.

'Rotherham will be a tough match, it was a tough battle at their place earlier in the season and it will be no different at London Road. They have been there or thereabouts in the table pretty much all season and are pretty secure in the play-offs already.

'We know that we have to be more consistent. I have watched last week's win over Milton Keynes Dons and it was a very good performance, one of our better ones this season. We controlled the game both offensively and defensively.

'We have a big week with Rotherham and then Preston and that is where our focus is. We are taking one game at a time. We are just focussed on what lies directly in front of us,' Ferguson said.

Rotherham have three former Posh players in their ranks with Kieran Agard, Craig Morgan and Lee Frecklington making returns to London Road. 'Everyone knew that Lee was and is a good player and he has had a very good season.

'I think with Lee he just wanted a fresh start and it has worked out very well for him. Craig I had at Peterborough and took to Preston North End and he has just returned from injury and been very solid at the back,' Ferguson added.
