Youngster Jermaine Anderson is away with the England under 18 squad.

Peterborough United midfielder Jermaine Anderson is currently away with the England under 18 squad and is set to miss the Sky Bet League One encounter at Sheffield United on Tuesday night.

The 17-year-old has been a regular in the first team squad this term and linked up with the national side following the defeat at Crawley.

England have two fixtures over the next few days at St. George's Park against Croatia. He was named on the substitutes bench for the fixture on Monday, but is expected to start on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, fellow teenager Robert Duggan was named the FAI Under 16 Player of the Year at an awards do over the weekend. The club would like to congratulate Robert on his award.
