Posh have beaten off competition from a host of clubs to sign highly-rated Erhun Oztumer.
Peterborough United have fought off competition from a host of clubs to sign highly-rated attacking player Erhun Oztumer from Dulwich Hamlet.
The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year contract at London Road after the two clubs agreed a deal.
Oztumer came through the Charlton Athletic youth system before a spell in the Turkish Premier League.
In the 2013/2014 season, Oztumer scored 33 goals in 49 appearances (28 goals in the Ryman Isthmian League Premier, and five goals in cup games)
Manager Darren Ferguson said: 'He is a lad that we have looked at. A lot of clubs have looked at him. He is an exciting player, he has great balance, great pace and a typical number 10. I have had a good chat with him and I am looking forward to working with him.
'I looked at his strengths and I know he is small, but he brings so much to the table. When we get him fit and up to speed, I think the fans will really take a shine to him. Everyone is fully aware of our policy and he fits the policy.
'He has been given a programme to get up to speed, we just need to be aware it will take time, but we are back on the 26th June and after pre-season training, he will play a big part come the start of the season,' Ferguson said.
Oztumer said: 'I am very excited about this move. It is a big opportunity for me and one I am very much looking forward to. I am really happy. I have had experience of playing in Turkey and being away from family was tough, but I learned a lot and now I am back and raring to go.
'I have really enjoyed my time at Dulwich Hamlet. The manager here has spoken to me about the role he wants me to play and that excites me. I want to bring exciting football, I like to get on the ball and create and I want to score goals.
'I have played on the wing, but mainly in the number 10 position. I can't wait to get started, training every day is something I am really looking forward to,' Oztumer said.
